The Family Concerts by the Slovak Philharmonic, mainly intended for children, has been enjoyed by a wide audience for the past ten years. Four compelling musical projects, in which the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovak Chamber Orchestra Bohdan Warchal and the Eva Jaczova Dance Conservatorium are introduced, have been prepared for this season. The first family concert has been prepared in collaboration with Juraj Hatrík, the author of a large number of instructive musical literature. Its aim is to introduce the young public to the work of the chamber orchestra in a a simple, educational way and to introduce them to the sound and compositions of various style periods. The conductor Larry Newland will make the large symphony orchestra approachable by introducing the various instrument groups and the familiar and less familiar instruments found in a symphony orchestra. The March Family Concert, in which the dancers of Eva Jaczova Dance Conservatorium will perform German Dances of the 18th century to music by W. A. Mozart in period costumes, will commemorate Mozarts anniversary.
