“Our lives are accompanied by moments when we have no reason for joy, celebration or applause. There are many compositions in music that are a suitable for these situations. That's how the idea of a concert without applause was born,” reveals the artistic director of the Slovak Chamber Orchestra, Ewald Danel. For several seasons now, he has set himself the task of bringing less traditional programs to the audience, while also striving to involve amateur choirs and young emerging musical talents in the events. The dramaturgy of the program will provide space for meditation, silence and a release of mental tension from the fast cycle of ordinary working life.
